Treatment for hip chondromatosis depends on the severity of the condition and symptoms. Here are some of the common treatment options:

Conservative therapy: Conservative treatment options include pain medication, physical therapy and strengthening exercises. The goal is to relieve pain and improve mobility of the hip joint.

Arthroscopy: During arthroscopy, a camera is inserted through a small incision in the hip joint to examine the joint. Chondromas can also be removed.

Open surgery: In severe cases, open surgery may be necessary to remove the chondromas and smooth the affected areas of the joint. Joint replacement: If the damage to the hip joint is too advanced, joint replacement may be necessary.

It is important that the treatment is carried out by an experienced orthopedic surgeon, as hip chondromatosis is a rare disease and requires accurate diagnosis and therapy planning.
