Fast-Track hip replacements offer several advantages over traditional hip replacements. Here are some of the key benefits:

1. Shorter hospital stays: Using fast-track techniques allows patients to be discharged from the hospital more quickly. Typically, the length of stay is only a few days, allowing patients to recover more quickly.

2. Less pain: Fast-track techniques can help reduce pain after surgery by reducing the use of opioids.

3. Faster recovery: Fast-track techniques allow for faster recovery of hip mobility and function. This leads to a faster return to daily life and a better quality of life.

4. Lower complication rate: Using fast-track techniques can help reduce post-operative complications.

However, it is important to note that not every patient is a candidate for fast-track hip replacement. The decision as to which type of hip replacement and treatment is most appropriate depends on several factors and should be individually evaluated by an experienced orthopedic surgeon.

All artificial hip joints are operated on minimally invasively (using AMIS, ALMIS technology). We have been using the Fast Track procedure for years.

We will be happy to advise you on the Fast Track procedure.
