These questions can help the patient gain a comprehensive understanding of the upcoming hip replacement surgery and best prepare for it. It is important that the patient discusses all concerns and questions with their medical team in order to make informed decisions.
A little tip: think about it at home and write down your questions beforehand. After the general explanation of the operation, we will then specifically address your individual questions (although most of the time, all the questions you had will already have been addressed by us in the general explanation...)
It is important to us that the patient is well informed. We take a lot of time to do this during our hip consultation.
