Dr. med. Alexander Moser

Dr. med.
Alexander Moser

As a sports orthopedist in Berlin (Mitte), Dr. Alexander Moser has specialized in the hip joint in addition to surgery on the knee, shoulder and ankle.

He is the medical director of the sports orthopedics and hip surgery department at a leading Berlin clinic. There he treats all diseases of the large joints in adolescents and adults.

Before every operation, Dr. Moser first considers all relevant conservative treatment methods in order to avoid operations. The acquired qualifications in physical therapy, manual medicine and chirotherapy mark his special expertise in this area.

At the heart of the treatment methods used by Dr. Moser, your sports orthopedist in Berlin, is joint-preserving hip surgery. Only a small number of specialist clinics in Germany offer hip arthroscopies as a routine procedure with the necessary frequency. As one of the few specialists in Germany, Dr. Moser specializes in both joint-preserving hip surgery and minimally invasive hip joint replacement (hip prosthesis).

He uses all hip surgery procedures and assesses and treats all hip diseases in their entirety. This often saves the patient an endoprosthetic treatment or delays it for years.

Experienced surgeons regularly visit Dr. Moser in the operating room to learn special hip surgery techniques. Numerous medical companies name his department (inter)nationally as a reference center for hip surgery.

Another focus is on cartilage surgery: with all possibilities of modern cartilage regeneration up to cartilage cell transplantation (ACT) and autologous matrix-associated chondrogenesis (AMIC).
